Ruka - the House of Gravel

You ride bikes. Good. That’s why you’re here. And that’s why we built this site.

Ruka has 900 km of mapped gravel – some of the best you’ve never heard of. No traffic, no hype, just fast-rolling dirt roads, open horizons, and enough adventure to keep you coming back. It’s a sub-arctic destination that holds its own against Girona and Emporia, made for those who know the best gravel isn’t about trends, but discovery. Some routes cut through deep forests, past still lakes, and break the treeline. Others trace the Russian border. Think: ride, sauna, repeat.

Gravel this good shouldn’t be a secret. Come and ride.

Seasons change. The quality of the riding doesn’t. The snow melts and spring rolls in with fast, firm tracks. Summer stretches the light past midnight. Autumn burns gold and red. No noise, no fanfare – just the finest gravel you’ll ride and the freshest air you’ll breathe. Simple, really.

Come with friends, rent a cabin, and cruise for days. Bring your family for a week of the best kind of outdoor adventure. Come alone and put in big rides on world-class gravel. Explore this site to find everything you need to know about Ruka gravel.

Finns have a word for this: virheetön — impeccable, 11/10. That’s Ruka gravel. Fast, consistent, and seemingly endless.
